Love, dedication to the traditional dishes & passion for top quality ingredients are the main elements to make special pasta & fiorentina steak , the yummy “arrosto infilato” ( that means roasted impaled with different kind of meats as pork,chicken,sausage cut in small pieces and put together with slices of bread , cooked into the oven , very tasty!)offering delicious savours that remind my childwood when my grandmother used to spend DAYS in the kitchen !
Everything is homemade – as you could see in my pictures “arrosto infilato” is not common to find in Tuscan restaurants – and handmade : from focaccia bread & grissini,pasta & cakes even panettone & torrone in Christmas time!
Family business means being both behind the scenes & around the clients tables to prepear & serve them with suggestions about the wine to pair with the dishes , one of the owners, Daniele , is a sommelier ( in one of my photo with Silvia his wife & fab chef 👏👍) who can gives you tips & information about the best nectar 🍷🍸🍷to match with your meal & also about the origins of the ingredients they use.
Three familes are working together since three generations to proprose a sincere cusine with great passion as it was their first day of work.
