If you decide to visit Liguria & 5 Terre don’t miss a schiacchetrá tasting in one of the small cellers of this area.This is in Riomaggiore where there is ” la via dell’amore” the love’s street just on the clift around this village.
I love this sweet ,dry , aromatic wine : the production is really very small & not many producers left at the present time as it is so hard to grow on the steep terraces overlooking the sea & collecting this special kind of grape by hand only!
It’s a suberb wine to be matched with matured goat cheese or as dessert wine at the end of a good meal that it is how I prefer it😉
Terre di Bargon it’s the name of this producer : Roberto Bonfiglio , the owner , showed us an interesting old documentary about how to make sciacchetrà & made a great guided tasting 🔝🔝
